TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL FOR

ARKLEHURST COTTAGE LANGTHWAITE

BOOKING CONDITIONS

• 1. Subject to availability, a provisional booking may be made by telephone by providing details of your name, address and required dates.
• 2. Following the making of a provisional booking payment of your deposit must be received within 5 working days to enable your booking to be confirmed.
• 3. Following receipt of your deposit a written receipt will be sent to you, confirming your booking and the amount of your balance and the date on which it is due.
• 4. If your balance is not received by the required date we shall be entitled to treat the booking as cancelled by you and the charges set out under the heading ‘cancellation by you' will apply.
• 5. Following receipt of your balance we will write to you giving directions to Arklehurst and details of how to gain access.
• 6. Arklehurst will be available for you from 1.30pm on your arrival date, and must be vacated by 10.00am on your departure date.
• 7. If you fail to arrive by 12.00 noon on the day after the start date of your holiday and do not notify us we will be entitled to treat your booking as cancelled by you on that day, and the charges set out under the heading ‘cancellation by you' will apply.

WHAT'S INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED

1.  The following are included in the price of your holiday:

-bedding and bedlinen;

-shower and toilet mats, and toilet rolls;

-tea-towels, oven gloves, washing-up cloths;

-cleaning fluids including washing up liquid, dettox, flash, domestos etc.

-all electricity, gas and unlimited coal:

-digital T.V. and CD player.

2.   Personal towels and toiletries are not included in the price of your holiday and, we regret, cannot be provided.

GENERAL

• 1. You are required to keep the cottage clean and tidy at all times and to leave the property in a similar state to that in which you found it.
• 2. We reserve the right to charge you for any damage or breakage to the cottage or its contents.
• 3. Neither pets nor smoking are permitted in the cottage at any time.
• 4. Arklehurst is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Please respect the environment and the tranquillity at all times.
• 5. The lane in front of Arklehurst is a public accessway - please do not obstruct it.
• 6. Due to the location of Arklehurst we consider a car to be essential.
• 7. Arklehurst sleeps a maximum of 4 adults plus 1 small child in a cot (not provided). No more than this number is permitted to stay at Arklehurst at any time.
• 8. If we believe that you are in breach of any of these conditions we shall be entitled to treat your booking as cancelled and refuse you permission to enter the cottage or re-possess the cottage, as appropriate, and the charges set out under the heading ‘cancellation by you' will apply.

CANCELLATION

• 1. If you need to cancel your holiday for any reason you must let us know as soon as possible.
• 2. Cancellation of your holiday for any reason will result in cancellation charges being made, based on the number of days prior to the cancellation that we receive your notification, as set out below. If you have already paid your balance then you may be entitled to a refund. If you have not already paid your balance you may still be required to pay all or part of the balance to us.

WE RECOMMEND THAT SUITABLE INSURANCE IS TO TAKEN OUT TO COVER THE POSSIBILITY OF UNFORSEEN CANCELLATION.
