Because we're small and new we have to try a little harder to impress.  We're constantly looking for new ways to make your stay more enjoyable.  Here are just a few recent ones:

• Complementary J2Os in all rooms (because we've always found water a little boring)
• When it's raining we'll escort you under cover to your car.
• Should you arrive too late for dinner (9pm), then a selection of sandwiches, soup and salads are available until 11pm each night.
• Breakfast in a bun.  Available to take away with you, along with freshly brewed tea and coffee.
• Complementary secretarial support (photocopying, fax, route planning, maps, taxi bookings, tourist information, weather forecasts and almost anything else you can think of.)
• Complementary shoe shining (because it's one of those things you never get round to)
• Guaranteed taxis.  If we can't book a taxi for you then we'll take you into Pickering or Malton ourselves, free of charge.  This service may not be available when Cheryl is on duty due to concerns for our guests' safety!
• Complementary lottery numbers predictions.  Unfortunately we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of this service.

Bars & Lounge

"Stopped on the 'off chance' of accommodation.  A gem of a find.  Well done, every success.  We will be back. " Yvonne & Charles Durrant, Leicestershire 

The bar is set in the oldest part of the hotel and features a real log fire and exposed stone walls.  The lounge is open throughout the day for real coffees, drinks and light snacks.

Bistro

Head chef Fred and his team pride themselves in using freshly cooked local and seasonal produce wherever possible.  Just as few artists would harbour winning the Turner Prize as their greatest ambition, a Michellin Star is not one of our goals.  Instead, we seek to delight our customers with delicious, well presented food in a relaxing atmosphere - at very reasonable prices.

Booking is strongly advised, especially at weekends and during busy periods.
