Brentwood Farm Holiday Cottages, Burton-in-Lonsdale, Yorkshire Dales Offering a place to relax from the stresses of everday life, Brentwood Farm has exceptional accommodation in the newly converted farm buildings. In the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Brentwood Farm is a working, family run dairy farm which is within easy reach of the Lake District.
Accommodation is to a high standard with double glazing, full central heating and natural water supplied by its own borehole. Marvellously equipped, the Sycamores and Beeches Cottages feature a cosy sitting room with a colour TV and fully fitted kitchen containing an electric cooker, washer / drier, fridge, freezer, and microwave. Both cottages have en-suite facilities and sleep four or five people in two bedrooms. Bed linen and towels are included.  Specifically designed for disabled use with wheelchair access to the ground floor, kitchen, sitting room, and twin bedroom as well as its own disabled shower room and WC, Sycamores has achieved Disabled status. Each cottage has parking for 2 vehicles, with a designated space for disabled users and is located a quater of a mile away from the main farm buildings.
With wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, the cottages have many opportunities for painting and photography. The area is known for old pottery works, the remains of which can be found on the farm and there are an array of appealing walks available to the local beauty spots. Burton in Lonsdale is near to Ingleton which has show caves and wonderful waterfalls.
For the adventurous there is the challenge of the Three Peaks hill walk of Ingleborough, Whernside and Penyghent. Fishing is available by prior arrangement on the river Greta, bicycle hire and golf is available locally. If you don't fancy cooking yourself after working up an appetite from all this activity / relaxation, there are many eating establishments and small shops in Ingleton and Kirkbylonsdale. A short distance from the cottage is our local village which has a pub serving food, the post office and a village shop, as well as the village church and chapel.
