Welcome to a holiday destination where you can do as much - or as little as you choose. Brompton Lakes provides top quality, self-catering holiday eco-lodges in beautiful surroundings. The lodges are situated just two miles from the historic Yorkshire market town of Richmond in 26 acres with two lakes surrounded by woodland and open countryside. Resting on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, directly on the banks of the River Swale and close to the Coast to Coast footpath, life doesn't get more tranquil. |
There's plenty to do and see at Brompton Lakes, its main beauty being that you can set your own pace. In fact it is the ideal holiday location for everyone, be they couples looking for a peaceful getaway or families with children; walking groups, cyclists and, of course, angling enthusiasts. The two lakes are well stocked with coarse fish (mainly carp) and guests are very welcome to fish. We also have fishing rights on the River Swale and there is easy access to around ¾ mile of river bank where grayling, wild brownie, dace and perch can be caught. |
