Bushey
Lodge is a traditional working farm of over two thousand acres of hill
farmland, some of which is owned by the National Trust & all of which
is within an Environmentally Sensitive Area Scheme.
The lovely old farmhouse
nestles on the edge of Starbotton village and has been sympathetically
restored to create a haven of peace & tranquillity. There are two guest
bedrooms, one double & one twin, each with its own bath & shower
in an en-suite bathroom, television & a welcome tray.
A
hearty farmhouse breakfast is served each morning round the oak table
in the dining room.
This room also doubles as a comfortable & charming sitting room for quiet
evenings. Guests have access to the house during the day & they are also
welcome to wander or sit in the well kept gardens surrounded by the wonderful
Dales countryside.
Starbotton
is a picturesque typical Dales village with stone bridges, river & streams,
barns & dry stone walls & a quaint village inn serving excellent ales
& food, all within easy walking distance of Bushey Lodge.
