Candlelight Cottage is situated in Conistone, a small picturesque village close to Kilnsey, which boasts the famous Kilnsey Crag for climbers, a Trout Farm for fly-fishing, Trekking and Riding Centre and annual Agricultural Show. The pretty Dales village of Grassington is 3 miles away with a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as regular entertainment in the Grassington Octagon Theatre and annual summer Grassington Festival. Also an easy drive from the cottage are Kettlewell with its annual scarecrow festival, Skipton with its market and medieval castle, Malham Cove and Tarn with limestone pavement which is well known to Geography students and Harry Potter fans alike. The Duke of Devonshire's Bolton Abbey Estate makes another wonderful day out.
Candlelight Cottage offers a unique blend of new and old with a host of beams, trussed ceilings and a woodburning stove in the sitting room. It sleeps 7 in 2 kingsized bedrooms, 1 with a four poster bed and a family room, which sleeps 3. It has a patio area and car parking. The cottage offers oil fired central heating, bed linen and towels, a washing machine and dishwasher as well as an American fridge/ freezer with ice dispenser. For cosy evening entertainment there is a flat screen tv and DVD player. |
