Upper Wharfedale - Kettlewell, 1 and 2 New Ledes Cottages

Kettlewell is the epitome of Dales villages; beautiful stone cottages nestling in the bottom of the Wharfedale valley, virtually unchanged in generations.

The village lies 6 miles north of Grassington, and enjoys the same spectacular scenery and is an ideal location for a peaceful walking or touring holiday. There are many footpaths, both along the valley bottom, beside the river or over the hills. Kettlewell has two shops and 3 pubs.

Both villages are ideal for touring Herriot and Bronte country, visiting show caves and waterfalls, ancient monuments and stately homes. York is just 90 minutes drive and the cities of Leeds and Bradford are about 45 minutes drive.

1 and 2 New Ledes Cottages, Kettlewell

The cottages are located between the ancient church and the village stream and just up the road from the friendly local pub, and comprise:

• Lounge/dining room and CTV, kitchen with cooker, microwave and fridge; bathroom and toilet, bedroom with double bed
• There are storage heaters upstairs and downstairs.
• No. 1 has a multi-fuel stove and No. 2 has an open stone fireplace. Wood and coal are available on request.
• Each cottage accommodates 2 adults + baby. (Cot available on request)
• There is a car parking space, cycle store and a sunny garden.

Tariff

Low season: From £145 per week
High Season: From £215 per week

Short breaks are available in low season.
Electricity and gas used is chargeable at cost.

Please state in advance that you require towels and bed linen. (There is a supplementary charge of £10).
