Further north the Dales village of Hawes has the Rope Works and Cheese Making Factory as well as Gayle Mill. White Scar Cave and Stump Cross Caverns are close by for those who would like to explore the local limestone landscape from underground as well as Ingleton with its caves and pot holes.
