Situated in the heart of rural North Yorkshire in a sympathetically converted barn and stables, Cowscot House offers a high standard of bed and breakfast accommodation. Located on the edge of the popular village of Kirkby Malzeard, the house provides an excellent base for touring and exploring the Yorkshire Moors or Dales and is ideal for short stays or for longer breaks. The village offers a good range of everyday facilities including a general store, a popular butcher, two pubs, a fish and chip shop, a doctor's surgery, garage, tea room, school and a village church and hall.

All of the three double/twin bedrooms are en suite and were refurbished in early 2009. Situated on the ground floor, either in the converted barn or adjoining stables overlooking the courtyard garden, all rooms offer central heating, en suite bathroom or shower room, duvets on the beds (blankets available if required), a selection of local teas, coffees and biscuits, digital television, comfortable armchairs, clock/radio alarm and hairdryer, and free WiFi access.
