Crooklands B&B is a 17th century former farmhouse in the conservation village of Clapham within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There is a network of footpaths from Clapham, one of which is a nature trail leading to Ingleborough Cave. Nearby Ingleton has a a greater range of shops and pubs and a number of walks including the Ingleton Waterfalls Walk. The area is famous for the Yorkshire Three Peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside with the standing challenge to climb all 3 in under 12 hours! Two paths lead up Ingleborough from within a half-mile of the house.

This area of Yorkshire offers many outdoor activites from walking and cycling to caving, potholing and fishing. The market towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, Skipton & Kendal are within easy reach by car and the historic spa town of Harrogate is not much further. Visit the Dales villages of Grassington and Malham with its famous Cove, Tarn and limestone landscape.

Crooklands bed and breakfast accommodation offers 2 spacious bedrooms, double and double or twin, with spectacular views across the valley to the Forest of Bowland. Both rooms have centrally heated radiators with individual controls, flat screen TVs with Freeview, and tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities. A range of toiletries, fluffy towels and facecloths are provided, as are a hairdryer & radio alarm clock. The guest lounge has a colour TV with DVD player and there is a variety of tourist information, books and maps which you are welcome to borrow.
