The Dales Guest House is situated in the village of lngleton, in the wonderful Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Locally there is a wealth of interesting things to see and do, and each season has its own attractions. For walkers, the three peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-gent are all accessible. To the south, wonderful green hills lead to the Trough of Bowland and a network of footpaths and bridleways make numerous rambles possible. The Dales Guest House is ideally located for seeing the Dales on foot, car or bicycle. Drystone walls, natural limestone pavements, small villages and cosy pubs and cafes make this an unforgettable landscape. Just outside the village a circular walk encompasses two glorious valleys, each with a series of waterfalls. White Scar Caves are also close by. The Settle to Carlisle Railway is an amazing feat of engineering and construction, making it one of the most scenic journeys in the country, and nearby there is also the magnificent 24 arch Ribblehead viaduct. The Dales Guest House has five en-suite rooms (three doubles, one twin and one single), each with colour television, tea and coffee trays and magnificent views of either Ingleborough or the Greta Valley, and a comfortable residents lounge provides for a relaxing end to your day.
