Things to do in the Area Things to do in Littondale

The ever-changing seasons ensure that Littondale has something to offer whenever you come. From the door you can amble along the river or twisting lanes down the Dale to Arncliffe, or updale to Halton Gill, Foxup and the remote farm house at the end of the Cosh track.

If you are feeling more energetic, there are several circular walks across the top of the fells into upper Wharfedale, taking in the villages of Kettlewell, Starbotton, Buckden, Hubberholme and Yockenthwaite - with a choice of several interesting pubs for a lunch-time pie and a pint.

A short drive from the door gives endless possibilities of further walks in some of the best walking country around. Other activities such as fishing and pony-trekking are available in the area.
