Set in the attractive village of West Burton this spacious stone cottage features leaded mullioned windows, window seats and beamed ceilings. It enjoys a quiet and peaceful location close to the waterfall of Walden Beck and overlooks the large village green with its childrens play area. The village is free from through traffic and served by a sub post office with general store, butchers shop, and local pub serving meals. Other village enterprises are an antique shop and the famous cat pottery. Popular with walkers there is an abundance of routes in every direction from the village. A regular bus service links with the main Wensleydale market towns of Leyburn and Hawes. In addition, the area is ideally centred for touring neighbouring Swaledale and Wharfedale.
