Four
traditional stone built holiday cottages, situated within Kettlewell,
beside the stream and within easy walking distance of three excellent
shops, three hotels which have public bars, and the lovely old church.
Kettlewell
nestles in the Upper Wharfedale Valley, 14 miles north of Skipton. It
is an ideal centre for walking or sightseeing by car.
Our four cottages are comfortably furnished and fully
heated, with the added advantage of an open fire. Each has beamed ceilings,
colour television and a bathroom with shower. The modern kitchens are
fully fitted and well equipped, including washing machine, dishwasher
and microwave. Bed linen and towels are provided.
COLTSFOOT,
CLOVER AND COWSLIP COTTAGES
Each of these cottages, constructed from the original farm building,
has individual character and provides accommodation for up to four people
in one double and one twin bedded room. Each cottage has a combined sitting/dining
room.
Cowslip
has an extra toilet downstairs and all three have a fridge freezer. In Clover, to comply with the National Inspection Scheme, the two small beds have been replaced with one full sized single bed. Consequently that cottage now sleeps three people.
BUTTERCUP COTTAGE
An imaginatively designed single storey cottage with
combined sitting room and kitchen and a separate twin bedded room and
bathroom. There is no dishwasher in Buttercup.
Short
stay and weekend bookings are welcome during the winter months, otherwise,
the cottages are booked weekly from Saturday afternoon until the following
Saturday morning.
All cottages are personally maintained by the owner.
There is ample private car parking and an outdoor
seating area.
Pets are strictly by arrangement and a charge may
be made. Coltsfoot is totally pet free and non smoking. In the other cottages
smoking is discouraged and restricted to the ground floor.
