Grange Farm Barn

Group Accommodation at Hubberholme,
Upper Wharfedale, Yorkshire Dales

This interesting old building was formerly the stables and coach-house for Grange Farm, Hubberholme which used to be the Vicarage for the 13th century church nearby. Hubberholme was described by the dramatist J B Priestley as one of the most pleasant places in the world".

The barn is in ideal Yorkshrie dales walking country. It has been converted by local craftsmen into a bunkhouse barn, offering self-catering accommodation for 18 people.

There are four bedrooms with bunk beds (2 rooms for 6, 1 room for 4, 1 room for 2), a drying room, showers, wash-rooms and toilets downstairs. On the first floor is a kitchen with fridge and cookers, plus a large dining and recreation room in traditional Dales style giving magnificent views of Langstrothdale.

The barn has central heating with radiators in all rooms and is open all the year. Catering utensils, blankets, pillows and pillow cases are provided. There is plenty of space for parking. As there are holiday cottages nearby, we regret we are not a young person's party venue.

At weekends all 18 beds must be paid for.
