The Grove Hotel, LeyburnGrove House offers warm, friendly hospitality in one of Leyburn's finest 18th Century squares.

Built in 1757, Grove House is reputedly one of Leyburn's oldest buildings. The panelled, beamed guest lounge with its seasonal fire and friendly, small bar, welcomes not only our regular visitors, but also wildlife enthusiasts, cyclists, walkers and speculative travellers from all over the globe.

Sample some of Yorkshire's finest produce in our licensed restaurant, named Yew Tree Restaurant after the large Yew growing in the front garden. A-la-carte choice, including vegetarian dishes is available, and special diets are catered for wherever possible.

The bedrooms are very comfortable, each with central heating, colour television and tea and coffee making facilities. All beds have 12.5 tog duvets with coordinated curtains and fabrics making our guests feel cosy and very much 'at home'. All 7 rooms have private en-suite facilities - some with shower and some with bath - and one double room is at ground floor level.

Bolton CastleLEYBURN is a focal point in the heart of Yorkshire's rich and varied countryside. It is an 18th Century market town ideally placed for visiting all that the Yorkshire Dales have to offer. Bolton, Middleham and Richmond Castles, Jervaulx, Fountains and Coverham Abbeys are all nearby. The beautiful waterfalls at Aysgarth are only 15 minutes away. There are many craft workshops in the area, such as the Teapot Factory, the Candle Maker, local weavers, spinners, rope makers, glass blowers - all just a short drive away, and a wealth of potters all with their own individual designs. Something for everyone - and all situated in one of Yorkshire's most beautiful areas.
