 Cosy home from home accommodation is offered in 6 spacious cottages and a large comfortable farmhouse. Set around an attractive garden courtyard, the cottages have been sympathetically converted from traditional farm buildings. They are equipped and furnished to a high standard making a homely atmosphere in which to relax at any time of year.
The cottages can offer group accommodation for up to 36 people and the farmhouse with large enclosed garden makes an ideal venue for a family reunion or group stay, perfect for spending time with family and friends. Our accommodation is pet friendly. The cottages are situated in open countryside approximately 1/2 mile (10/15 minutes walk) from Exelby village and a little bit further to Burneston village. Both Exelby and Burneston have a good pub with food and outside seating.
 The market town of Bedale is 2 miles away, with a good range of shops, pubs, cafes, takeaways and a leisure centre with swimming pool. Bedale is the gateway to Wensleydale with its attractive countryside and market towns of Leyburn, Middleham, Bainbridge and Hawes. Yorkshire attractions making great days out include Light Water Valley, Forbidden Corner, Big Sheep Little Cow and Wensleydale Creamery for family fun. Ayesgarth Falls, Masham and Black Sheep Brewery as well as the National Trust's Fountain's Abbey and Brimham Rocks are within an easy drive or why not enjoy a day out at the races at Catterick or Ripon Races. Centrally situated between the two Yorkshire National Parks and with easy access to the A1, the cottages are the perfect base for visiting the Yorkshire Dales or travelling East to the North Yorks Moors and Yorkshire coast.
