Only ½ a mile from the village of Keld, Keld Bunk House is in one of the most idyllic situations in the Dales. Standing on the banks of the Swale, it overlooks Rainby Force, an impressive waterfall which cascades 20 feet into a deep pool set in an amphitheatre of rocks. The property was converted from a hay barn in 1998 and is attached to the owners' farmhouse. The bunk house is over 100 metres from the nearest road and is not overlooked by other houses. The only sounds you will hear are the gentle swish and occasional roar of the falls, the breeze in the twin scots pines and the calls of woodpeckers, oystercatchers, curlews, peewits and the scores of other birds which frequent the surroundings.
