The Dales Way long distance footpath passes behind Langcliffe House B&B and the Yorkshire Dales Cycleway passes through the village. Outdoor activities available in the immediate vicinity are: walking, bird and bat watching, cycling, horse riding and pony trekking, caving, fly fishing, fell running, shooting and star gazing.
