Historical Ling House B&B is nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in the village of Threshfield near Grassington. Over four centuries ago a Scottish moss-trooper (Jamie Ibbotson) settled and built Ling House and his descendants have lived in it ever since. Ling House offers double or single occupation with a spa bath en-suite. Locally produced bacon, sausages and eggs are used for the traditional English breakfast and special diets are catered for. There is off road parking.
There are plenty of things to see and do from Ling House. Enjoy Yorkshire Dales walks, fishing or hire a bicycle in Grassington for Dales cycle routes. Take a day trip to the beautiful old spa town of Harrogate, Roman city of York, Ripon, Ilkley with its famous moor, Haworth and the Bronte museum. Closer to home are the Bolton Abbey Estate, Skipton with its market and medieval castle and the National Trust's Malham Tarn, Fountain's Abbey and Brimham Rocks.
Threshfield has its own Pub, The Old Hall Inn, serving great food and within easy walking distance of Ling House. A full A La Carte Menu is on offer daily in addition to traditional English Fare. |
