The village is set within a breathtaking Limestone landscape and is well known for its beauty spots; Malham Cove, Gordale Scar, Janet's Foss and Malham Tarn. Malham has much to offer people of all ages with walks for all abilities. Strenous walks can be found in the surrounding hills but a stroll around the village is great if you fancy something less energetic. If you feel like relaxing, our cottage offers a comfortable sofa, wood burning stove and a large selection of books... The village is a two minute walk down the garden path. There's two pubs serving food and real ale, tea rooms and a working Blacksmith's shop. Three miles away is a Farm Shop and tea room selling local produce and gifts. Settle and Skipton which are both market towns, are 6 and 11 miles away respectively both offering supermarkets. |
