Manna Cottage

Manna Cottage is situated at the top of Grassington's main street.

The largest of Wharfedale's villages, Grassington offers visitors a wealth of dales history, a visitors centre and superb walking, either along the River Wharfe or over the hills and dales. Browse in the shops, enjoy the cafes, restaurants and pubs that all offer excellent food.

Manna Cottage is a compact but very comfortable 18th century former lead miner's cottage and has recently been renovated to a high standard.

The view from the front windows is one of slow village life and beyond the roof tops, the fells and fields of the Dales.

Accommodation comprises:

Two bedrooms - one double, and a smaller bedroom with adult size bunk beds.

There is a shower room with wash basin and toilet and shaving point. Lounge/dining room, with original beams to ceilings and windows, exposed stone fireplace with gas stove for those chilly evenings, colour television and radio. Utility room with boiler for gas central heating, automatic washing machine and tumble dryer.

The well equipped kitchen has electric cooker, hob, microwave oven, fridge, ironing board and iron, toaster and kettle. Kitchen linen provided.

All duvets, bed linen and towels are provided. Gas and electricity are included in the rent. There is parking for one car at the rear of the cottage.

The Sycamores
(sleeps six people)

Sycamores cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Burnsall, several miles from Grassington in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

Burnsall is one of the prettiest villages in Wharfedale with a village green and bridge over the River Wharfe. Downstream is Bolton Abbey with its famous ruins and beautiful riverside walks.

The Sycamores is a beautifully appointed property has recently been renovated and now sleeps six people in comfort.

It is ideally placed, overlooking the village green and the River Wharfe. The view from the rear is uninterrupted across the fields which rise to Burnsall Fell.

Accommodation comprises:

Entrance hall, lounge with open fire and beams, colour TV, patio doors leading to a small private paved area with garden furniture and barbecue. Spacious dining kitchen with microwave, hob and electric oven, refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board and iron, toaster and kettle.

There are three bedrooms; one double, one twin and one bedroom with adult sized bunk beds. Bathroom with three piece suite and electric shower over bath, heated towel rail and shaver point. Cot and high chair available on request.

All duvet, bed linen and towels are provided. Fuel is included in the rent. Oil fired central heating throughout. Parking is either on the road opposite or tokens are provided for use in a small private car park a short stroll away.
