The countryside around Lofthouse is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and with the bustling market towns of Masham and Pateley Bridge a short drive away, Lofthouse is an ideal base to enjoy the Dales. The dramatic How Stean Gorge and Gouthwaite bird sanctuary are within walking distance and the Nidderdale Way passes the garden gate.

The cottage, built in the early 1800's has an oak beamed ceiling with stone flagged floor and cozy open fire, TV, video and CD player. The small fully equipped kitchen has a fridge, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. From the kitchen, the quirky steep staircase and lopsided landing leads to a double and twin bedroom overlooking the village chapel and countryside up to Middlesmoor respectively. There is a clean and bright shower room.
