The pretty dales village of Kettlewell is 3.5 miles, whilst the bustling market of Skipton is 12 miles. Grassington is 3 miles away with its cobbled square, great Yorkshire Pubs, quaint shops and cafes and entertainment at the Octagon Theatre.

An excellent pub is situated approx 400 yards from the property with Kilnsey Trout Farm beyond, offering fun fishing for the young, a shop and restaurant. More serious fishermen can obtain day passes for the river Wharfe approx half a mile away. Kilnsey Trekking and Riding Centre is in the village and the famous Crag is popular for climbing. There are wonderful walks and cycle rides from the front door.

The property boasts a large kitchen that retains many unique features to include oil fired Aga, original exposed beams. The lounge and dining room, both have welcoming open fires and tasteful decor.
