Location
On the edge of the village are the Harswell Working Shire Horses and Major Bridge Park which looks back at rural life in bygone days and is where a range of Victorian fairground rides and farm machinery are to be seen and ridden. An Equestrian Centre is nearby, whilst the local Golf Course and Driving Ranges are only 4 miles away. Blacktoft Sands for the bird watcher is also nearby. The terrain lends itself to the walker or rambler. Craft fairs are held regularly in the Village Hall and the annual Flower Festival over 4 days in the village's All Saints Church is a sight to remember.
