When you arrive at The Old Station, a traditional Yorkshire Dales inn, you can be sure of a typically warm welcome. We are keen to ensure a relaxed and informal stay with us, and having collected your key you may come and go as you please. Situated in the glorious Ribblesdale countryside and open all year, we are ideally placed whether your visit is for business or pleasure. 

Comfortable, well appointed rooms ...
We provide comfortable, well appointed, ensuite accommodation with a hearty Dales breakfast. We offer cask conditioned ales and home cooked meals using local produce where available.

Our lovely four poster bedroom is ideal for those special occasions. All rooms are tastefully furnished with their own private bathrooms, and have remote control colour TVs and complimentary tea and coffee trays. There is disabled access.

Function Room
Our function room caters for 40 at seated events and up to 60+ for buffets. Perfect for weddings, christening, anniversaries and birthday parties as well as corporate events, training seminars, networking meetings, drama groups and club meetings.

Ideally situated...
The Old Station is ideally located for many local attractions and within driving distance of Yorkshire's main towns and cities. Places of interest include some of the country's most dramatic scenery such as Malham Cove and the National Trust owned Malham Tarn and Field Centre, Gordale Scar and Ingleton Waterfalls. Serious walkers may like to attempt the Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Penyghent and Whernside. Also in the locality are the notable White Scar Caves and Stump Cross Caverns.

Rail enthusiasts will be enthralled by a trip on the Settle to Carlisle railway, or a visit to one of the small privately run railways in the the area at Embsay or Keighley & Worth Valley Railways.

As well as the historic town of Settle, there are facilities for clay pigeon shooting and fly fishing at Coniston Cold, hot air ballooning, pony trekking and the local falconry centre. The market town of Skipton with an interesting variety of shops, castle and museum, swimming pool, leisure centre and golf course is a short drive.

Speciality breaks such as golf,horse riding, falconry, archery, landrover driving, clay pigeon shooting, walking and rock climbing and map reading may be available. Please enquire when booking your stay with us.

Rates are per room per night (exc Christmas / New Year) and include a Hearty Dales Breakfast.

Festive Breaks

New Year
Celebrate the magical start of 2007 with excellent food and good company 31st December, 1st January (minimum 2 night booking).
Twixmas
Dinner, bed and breakfast 27th to 30th December from £45 per person per night.

Cancellation policy: Credit / debit card name, address and contact details required at the time of booking. The first night of any stay will be charged for any cancellations received 10 days or less prior to arrival. Non arrivals will be charged the full amount of the booked period.

From the South -
Take the A65 from Skipton until you reach the roundabout approaching Settle. Continue on the main A65 for one mile where we can clearly be seen on the right hand side of the road.

From the North -
Take the A65 from Kirkby Lonsdale, travel along the bypass in the direction of Skipton and we are on the left hand side opposite the turning for Giggleswick railway station.
