Situated at the very centre of the city, this former warehouse was converted in 1998, to provide holiday accommodation on three floors. The original loading bays, beams and pulleys have all been incorporated into the design of the building, which stands in a narrow alley just off Market Street and is approached via security gates. 

All of the flats have modern fitted kitchens and comfortable 'no frills' accommodation and have all been designed specifically as a central base for enjoying city life on the doorstep.

Car parking facilities are available close to the apartments and directions will be given.

Impossible to be more central, Peter Warehouse lies within 2 minutes of the riverbank, the open street market, the cobbled streets of The Shambles, The Jorvik Museum and Coppergate Shopping Centre, with bars, restaurants and theatres on the doorstep. A five minute stroll up Stonegate brings you to the Minster.

The foundations of present day York were laid by the Romans and throughout the centuries it has remained an important centre The enduring appeal of the city is that so much past has been preserved, hence the plethora of superb museums charting the city's history. These include the Jorvik Viking Centre and many historical sites. You may walk around the city walls, follow the Ghost Trails at night through a myriad of narrow lanes, visit Guy Fawkes' house or take a boat trip down the river. 

The city lies equidistant to the National Parks of the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales, which both lie within 40 minutes drive. 40 miles to the coast at Scarborough and Whitby 45 miles.

With so much to see and do, this is an ideal location for a holiday at any time of year.
