Tucked away in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, you'll find The Queen's Arms Inn, the kind of authentic rural free house that many feared may have disappeared forever.Littondale's visitors and locals have been regulars at The Queen's Arms since its beginnings as an 18th Century drover's inn, and we sometimes think some of them may never have left!
The welcome today is as warm as ever, with a real fire, real oak-beamed ceilings and real, home-cooked local food served by real people. The bar is also well stocked with real Litton Ales brewed on site in our own brewery, along with a great choice of guest ales and fine wines. It's a genuine, proper pub! Food is available at lunchtimes and evenings, and the menu features locally sourced game and fish, along with snacks, sandwiches and a great Sunday roast! If you're just passing through The Dales, or are here for a longer visit, we have excellent en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation available throughout the year. Take a look at the Accommodation page for more details on our great winter midweek special offer!
The Queen's Arms Inn is ideal for those on a walking or caving holiday, or if you're just looking for a comfortable, friendly rural retreat with nothing to disturb your sleep but the occasional barn owl. Or simply come for a drink, settle in by the fire and get chatting to whoever happens to be around; be they residents, passers-by or the locals. Take a look through the site to see more of what we have to offer.
