Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, you'll find The Queen's Arms Inn, Litton is an authentic rural free house.Littondale's visitors and locals have been regulars at The Queen's Arms since its beginnings as an 18th Century drover's inn.
The welcome today is as warm as ever,with a roaring fire, oak-beamed ceilings and home-cooked local food. The bar is also well stocked with real Litton Ales brewed on site in our own brewery, along with a great choice of guest ales and fine wines. Food is available at lunchtimes and evenings prepared by our resident chef, and the menu features locally sourced game and fish, plus a special board. If you're just passing through The Dales, or are here for a longer visit, we have excellent en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation available throughout the year.
The Queen's Arms Inn is ideal for those on a walking or caving holiday, or if you're just looking for a comfortable, friendly rural retreat with nothing to disturb your sleep but the occasional barn owl. Or simply come for a drink, settle in by the fire and get chatting to whoever happens to be around; be they residents, passers-by or the locals.
