Welcome to Ravensprings a delightful, Self-Catering Victorian Mansion House crammed with unique features and comfortable period furnishings. 

Built on a grand scale for the Mayor of Brighouse in 1896 and rated 4 star by the English Tourist Board, Ravensprings offers spacious accommodation for 16 guests plus cots and is the ideal  location for family gatherings, holidays and  large group celebrations

Enjoying a quiet residential setting; yet only 10 minutes from the stunning countryside and quaint villages at the top of the Peak District.  With views of the countryside from the top floor and pizza delivered to your door the house offers the ideal situation of civilisation combined with the great out doors.

Lots of local gastro pubs and restaurants, numerous places to visit such as Haworth, Saltaire, Harrogate, York, Harewood House.   Lots of local sports and activities including golf, riding, walking, rock climbing, paint balling, off roading, cycling etc.  

Things to do such as visiting galleries, local historical houses and gardens, museums, stately homes,  shopping, clubbing. Lots for  Children too such as Eureka Science Museum, theme parks, Petting Farms, and if it's raining why not send them down a mine? at the National Coal Mining Museum just 20 mins away. Alternatively there is a trampoline and swings in the enclosed garden.

Accommodation

Ground Floor

The gracious entrance Hall leads into the 34' sitting room with lovely mahogany panelling from the great liner Mauritania. It is amply furnished for up to 16 people to congregate and relax. It has a lovely open fire and a very pleasant aspect.

The dining room overlooks a small park that has a model railway which is used at weekends (public welcome on open days). The room has a lovely ambiance and is very gracious with two dining tables one that will seat up to 12 people and a second that seats 6. Conveniently there is a hatch through from the kitchen.

The fully equipped kitchen with gas / electric range cooker, dishwasher and other appliances, a breakfast area with large table seating for 10, wine rack and cupboard, and a utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and ironing board. You will also find a cloakroom with lavatory and wash hand basin.

1st Floor

The first floor consists of a family bathroom with power shower and 6ft bath, double basin, bidet and lavatory, and four unique double bedrooms:

Bedroom 1 has a full canopy king size four poster bed and antique maple and walnut suite, and an en suite bathroom with power shower, antique French double ended bath, lavatory and wash hand basin

Bedroom 2 has a super king size bed, Victoria mahogany suite and an en suite shower room.

Bedroom 3 has an antique oak French bed and an antique oak arts and crafts suite.

Bedroom 4 has an antique wrought iron bed, an antique satin wood suite and vanity basin.

2nd Floor

On the second floor there is a pretty family bathroom with Scottish antique bath, a huge family bedroom with lovely views, a round super king bed and 2 divan guest beds ideal for children, and a double bedroom with king size bed, antique maple and walnut suite, an antique crib and superb views.

Outside

Outside there is off road parking for up to 4 cars.

There is a sunny, lawned garden to the front with seating area and swings for the children at the back.

There is also a sunny barbeque area.
