Stow House is set in two acre grounds in the heart of Wensleydale with views of Bishopdale and Waldendale. Aysgarth Waterfalls are only five minutes walk away and the house can be a starting point for many walks. Cities such as Ripon and York and towns such as Harrogate and Richmond are all within easy reach.

With 9 en-suite rooms including a four poster, Stow House has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Each room has colour television, hot beverage facilities. free wi-fi access and a picturesque view. After a day of exploring the local countryside, guests can relax in a large lounge with a fire and inviting bar and dining-room. A traditional breakfast is offered with interesting alternatives such as smoked haddock, Manx kippers and kedgeree.

Facilities available to guests include tennis and croquet lawns with 3 golf courses in the area. Stow House is ideal for a short break but guests can also take over the whole house for a house party, family reunion or
special interest group accommodation such as a Golfing Break. The area is famous for its grouse, partridge and pheasant shooting and during the season we welcome Shooting Parties of up to 9 guns plus partners. The
