SWALEDALE COTTAGE - SLEEPS 2
Swaledale cottage is a recently renovated Georgian Grade II listed cottage on the green at Richmond.

The Swale, with its delightful wooded river walks, is within 100 yards and the old town of Richmond rises behind the cottage.

The cottage is furnished to a high standard and retains many attractive features including beamed ceilings and a most unusual Georgian open fire.

Lounge, kitchen/diner, 1 double bedroom, bathroom and toilet.

Electricity on meter, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine with tumble drier, immersion, colour T V, hi-fi, cot, high chair, blankets and duvets. Private Parking.

Linen is provided and towel hire can be arranged

RICHMOND
Richmond, on the river Swale, is a pleasant market town, steeped in history, at the northern gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. The Norman Castle and Georgian buildings surround the largest cobbled market square in England.

Along the Richmond trail you will find the Green Howard's Museum with its magnificent collection of military memorabilia, the unique Georgian Theatre and the Richmond Museum which contains the T V setting of James Herriot's Surgery.

The town offers ample shops and leisure facilities and has many pubs and restaurants providing excellent Yorkshire food. View map

Richmond is a good base for the walker to explore Swaledale and the Neighbouring Dales and by car the Lake District is only 45 minutes away. The East Coast resorts, Heartbeat County and York are with an hours drive and the theme park at Lightwater Valley is only 30 minutes away.
