High standards and a Yorkshire welcome await you at the OAST Guest House. It is situated on the main road, near to Settle town centre. It is within 10 minutes' easy walking of the railway station. Settle, at the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and in the Ribble Valley. It is a natural and ideal base for exploring this beautiful area of Yorkshire and the adjoining area of outstanding natural beauty, The Trough of Bowland. Several national cycle routes pass through the town, providing a natural stop off and resting point. 
You can always be assured of helpful and personal advice from Helen and Martyn. Our local knowledge, together with their walking experience, will help you make the most of your stay. In our guest lounge you can relax with tea, coffee and homemade cake and take advantage of our tourist information literature, including guides and local history. Maps of the area are provided for your use. The Oast Guest House is a well maintained Edwardian house offering four en suite bedrooms, the fifth bedroom has a shower and separate toilet. There are double,kingsize or twin. Room five can accommodate three people. 
Each room has freeview television, fresh fruit and mineral water. If you have any special dietary needs, meals can be tailored to suite your requirements. Guests can relax and enjoy good freshly prepared food:

 Settle is surrounded by superb walking countryside and offers access to limestone scars, caves, waterfalls and strolls along the River Ribble.
The Three Peaks, (Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside), the Pennine Way, and the Ribble Way provide more challenging walking.
Another of our mai n attractions is the incomparable Settle to Carlisle Railway which offers the visitor a journey through some of the most dramatic scenery in the country.
Free guided walks, which start from the different stations along the line, are now available throughout the year. The Oast Guest House has drying and ironing facilities, indoor cycle store, and is open all-year-round. Interesting packed lunches are a speciality, and flasks are willingly filled. The Oast Guest House is a non-smoking establishment.
