A picturesque dales village in beautiful Wharfedale, situated on the banks of the river just 4 miles from Grassington and 10 miles from the bustling market town of Skipton. Burnsall makes an ideal centre to explore the Yorkshire Dales for motorists, ramblers, amblers and countryside lovers alike. Over looked by the majestic Burnsall Fell, the village boasts a 12th century church, two pubs each with a restaurant and serving bar food, a village shop for most things, a café, and a splendid riverside village green for ball games or just to watch the world go by.

Nearby are riding at Kilnsey, golf at Skipton, sailing at Grimwith, and trout fishing on the river Wharfe. Local attractions include Bolton Abbey, Stump Cross Caverns, Parcival Hall, and Kilnsey trout farm. Fountains Abbey, Studley Royal, Brimham Rocks, The Bronte museum at Haworth, Harrogate and York are all within an easy drive. The dales villages of Wharfedale. Nidderdale and Wensleydale and the fells are all easily explored.
