Wharfe Lodge Nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Wharfe Lodge takes its name from the picturesque river which meanders through the heart of the stunning area known as Wharfedale.
It is perfectly located as a base for walking, painting or touring the dales. Accommodation Wharfe Lodge is a stylish timber holiday home sleeping up to 4 persons situated on a private park on the outskirts of Grassington.
Boasting gas central heating together with a total refurbishment in 2007, it makes for a cosy retreat at any time of year. The lodge comprises 2 bedrooms, kitchen/diner, bathroom (including both bath & electric shower), and spacious contemporary lounge. The living area opens onto a spacious verandah where meals can be enjoyed al fresco during the summer months and where pheasants, deer and rabbits freely roam beneath.
Facilities Following a busy day exploring the dales, Wharfe Lodge provides a colour 32" widescreen television, radio, DVD and CD players for its guests to enjoy as they unwind in the evenings
The fully equipped kitchen has a built-in electric oven area which seats 4 has dimmable lighting to create that special romantic atmosphere. Leisure and Dining Out Holiday rental entitles access to the private members-only leisure club located 100 yards from the Lodge for an additional fee.
The club's facilities include a modern indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym (over 16's). In addition the health & beauty salon offers a range of treatments which can be pre-booked through the club directly upon arrival. For a special dining experience The Gamekeeper's Inn and Poacher's restaurant, next to the Leisure Club offers real ales and first class freshly prepared meals by its award winning chef.
