Kirkby Malham, Malhamdale, Yorkshire Dales

Due to a change in personal circumstances we will unfortunatly be closing at the end of the 2005 season. We will continue to provide our high quality service for all current reservations, however will not be able to take further as of this time. Thankyou - Rose Turner.

Yeoman's Barn was originally built in the 17th century but was only converted into a house 20 years ago. Some of the original Oak beams can still be seen - do watch your heads!

You are welcome to join us in our main room downstairs, where there is a television, music, books to choose from and a warm log stove.

Breakfast is served at the family dining table where you will meet the other guests.

With only two letting bedrooms (both non-smoking) all guests receive my personal attention designed to ensure you have a comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

Kirkby Malham

Kirkby Malham is a quiet village just apart from the tourist bustle of Malham.

It is close to the Pennine Way and is proud of the "Cathedral of the Dales", the austerely beautiful 15th century church standing in a leafy, beckside corner of the village. The Village has one Public House.

Local Area

Malhamdale is at the southern base of the Yorkshire Dales. It's a wonderful place to relax and walk all year round. The main attractions are the stunning scenery of Malham Cove and Gordale Scar - probably the two most impressive sights in the whole of the Yorkshire Dales.

It is an ideal base for exploring the market towns of Skipton, Settle and Hawes, visiting the Settle-Carlisle Railway, the Falconry Centre, taking a trip on the canal or visiting one of several nearby Caves.
