Tana Stained Glass was established in 1984 with the aim of designing, manufacturing and restoring stained glass leaded windows.

Hand panted and kiln fired figure by Simon Fitton Decorative mirror Gothic arched bookcase lamp with an engraved centre panel One of our avante-garde torso pieces Two pieces comissioned in memory of a member of staff at the Field Head Hospital, Wakefield

Now in our 23rd year we have built a large portfolio of our work which has been achieved mainly through recomendation. This covers a range including windows, door panels, stained glass mirrors, lights and smaller gift items.

To maintain individuality avante-garde items are created as totally unique pieces.

This window rebuilt and fitted to a former Methodist chapel in Muker, North Yorkshire

The most talked about was the front half of a female torso that now resides in Florida. Torso 2 is a complete full size model. Torso 3 has now emigrated to Turkey, while Torso 4 resides in Durham and Torso 5 has been donated to a Hospice in Scarborough to raise funds.

Examples of our unique work can be viewed in the studio where commissions can be placed and items purchased. If you are looking for something different and original we will be happy to help.

Designs are produced individually by using and adapting the client's ideas or suggesting my own. We work together until a design is arrived at that fits within the budget available. However, many commissions have been accomplished by means of the telephone or post.
