Location
The
building is situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National
Park at Selside a tiny hamlet three miles north of Horton-in-Ribblesdale.
The building sits upon a limestone pavement and the area around
the centre is both a Site of Special Scientific Interest (Ingleborough
S.S.S.I. owned by English Nature) and a Special Area of Conservation
in the Register of European Sites.

Facilities
The accommodation has been recently refurbished
and consists of: -
- a large dining/common room
- an entrance hall
- drying room
- four bedrooms for 4, 6, 6 and 8 (a mixture of singles, bunks
and matratzenlager)
- separate toilet facilities with showers. excellent kitchen with
a large oven/cooker, separate hot water boiler and equipped with
microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, pots, pans, cutlery, plates,
cups etc.
- There is heating throughout.
To keep the decorative state in good repair and
in line with University policy the whole building is a NO
SMOKING AREA. |
