Barden Bunk Barn lies only a stone's throw from the River Wharfe, and is adjacent to the impressive ruin of Barden Tower, which dates back to the 11th Century. The Bunk Barn, itself some 200 years old, offers simple hostel style accommodation in these scenic and historic surroundings.

Situated on the Duke of Devonshire's Bolton Abbey Estate, the Barn is off the B6160 three miles North of Bolton Abbey village, four miles South of Burnsall, and 300 yards from the Dales Way. It is therefore ideally placed to serve as a base from which to explore the lower Dales, and is used all year round by a wide range of outdoor pursuits and study groups.
