Stunning location

The Confluence Centre is a beautifully converted field barn  situated in picturesque Upper Wharfedale near to the famous Kilnsey Crag and between the pretty villages of Grassington and Kettlewell. The building is surrounded by sheep grazed pastures and is within 500 metres of two rivers, waterfalls, springs and wildflower meadows. (This was the location for the 'Calendar Girls' film).

Many walks can be taken straight from the door to Arncliffe, Grassington, Kettlewell  and the "Dales Way" itself.  

Plenty of room

The centre has two hotel standard lounges - one being the      260 year old main barn room which is full of character and original features. The second is modern and luxurious with leather arm chairs,  tv, cd, dvd, video and snooker table. (This has been newly refurbished for 2010).    

We have 9 comfortable twin bedrooms sleeping up to 18 people and a well equipped kitchen ideal for self catering groups with the main lounge seating everybody around one table. 

Outside we have large well maintained grounds with various seating areas providing you with unspoilt views of the  surrounding countryside.

  • Heating - the centre has central heating and is always warm.
  • Bedrooms - 9 twin bedrooms that are clean and comfortable with 2 single beds, chest of drawers, hanging spaces, bedside lamps and alarm clocks.
  • Main Lounge - large 8 metres square room comfortably seats 18 at a large dining table with open plan lounge area for relaxing.
  • Second Lounge Room - with oak parquet floor, luxury leather arm-chairs, tv, cd, dvd video and snooker table.
  • 5 toilets, 4 showers - are all adjacent or next to each of the nine bedrooms, (newly refurbished in 2009).
  • Large Kitchen - with 2 ovens, 2 microwaves, 8 hobs, dishwasher, 2 fridges, freezer and ample crockery, glasses and pans. (Kitchen awarded the maximum of 5 stars by the local authority for hygiene and cleandliness). 
  • Entrance Hall - with plenty of space for taking off boots and hanging / drying wet clothing.
  • Centre Grounds - one acre of beautiful grounds with  seating areas enable you to enjoy breakfast or afternoon tea whilst taking in the stunning views.
  • Car Park - a private and secure off road car park.
  • Nearby Pub - only 1/2 mile down the road, serving great beer, bar snacks and a full restauraunt menu.

Bed linen You will need to bring a single sheet and duvet cover for each bed used. These however can be hired at a cost of £3.50 per person. 

B & B Some rooms are available midweek from £25 for a single and from £40 for a twin. Please note that B & B bookings can only be made up to 14 days in advance of your stay.
