Terms and Conditions of Hire for Weekend / Holiday Groups Please note that the Confluence Centre is NOT a bunk barn but is considerably more up-market and furnished to a high standard and it is not to be hired as a young persons "party venue". Deposits are required within ten days of a booking being accepted to secure same. The non returnable deposit is £200 for bookings up to £700 and £250 for bookings over this amount. The balance outstanding is payable one calendar month prior to the date of your stay and failure to comply will result in your booking and deposit being lost with the dates re-advertised without notice. New groups and any groups containing children under 16yrs will be required to provide a returnable CASH damage deposit of £150 on their arrival. This will be returned within one week of departure provided the centre is left clean, tidy, undamaged and in a satisfactory order. If a cancellation is made within one month of your stay you will be liable to pay the whole amount outstanding. We do not permit more than 18 persons to use/hire the centre and associated grounds (no outside guests/visitors permitted). We do not accept bookings from or for persons under the age of 25yrs or for stag parties. We do not accept youth groups unless nationally recognised and organised through their respective institutions. Arrival and departure times are 4.30pm and 11.30am respectively. (Earlier arrivals or later departures can be pre-arranged at a cost of £20 per hour). Upon arrival the person responsible for the group should make themselves known to the owners who will provide a "health and safety" tour of the building, collect the cash damage deposit and issue relevant keys. Linen - you will need to bring a single sheet and duvet cover for each bed used. These however can be hired at a cost of £3.50 per person. Dogs / Pets are not allowed at the centre / grounds or within vehicles therein. Smoking is not permitted and we would ask you not to use candles, fireworks, outdoor lanterns, party confetti or silly string. Please do not move centre furniture (tables, chairs, beds) without prior arrangement. We are unable to accept motor homes, caravans and tents at the centre or grounds. The centre should be left clean and tidy after use and the person booking the centre will be held liable for any damage sustained during the group stay. Groups and individuals visiting / using the centre do so at their own risk. The owners cannot accept responsibility for injuries to visitors or loss or damage to vehicles or property whilst on the premises or associated grounds. Your payment is received as confirmation that you and your group agree to these terms and conditions. |
