Dub-Cote Farm is located on the flanks of Pen-y-ghent (on left above, with Pen-y-ghent in background) and dates back to 1658 or possibly earlier. It lies approximately ½ mile south east of Horton-in-Ribblesdale, is linked by public footpath to the Pennine Way ¾ mile away and is in the famous Three Peaks area. Dub-Cote Barn is not only well located for fell walking but is also an ideal base for pot holing, cycling, or for field studies. The barn is built of local limestone with a stone slate roof.
