Situated amid the beautiful limestone scenery of Upper Wharfedale this picturesque traditional stone barn has been sensitively converted by local craftsmen to provide convenient, flexible accommodation for groups or individuals in a peaceful, rural setting.

 Located midway between bustling, vibrant Grassington and the charming riverside village of Kettlewell, the Barn provides the perfect base for exploring the many delights of the Yorkshire Dales. The famous Tennant Arms hotel is within a 10 minute walk and provides local real ales and excellent bar meals.

Our accommodation consists of a spacious stone flagged entrance Hall, 5 bedrooms sleeping a total of 25 people, a large, cosy traditional Common Room with exposed beams and stonework, a new fully fitted Kitchen Area with modern appliances, separate Ladies and Men's washrooms with toilets and showers and a Drying/Cloak room.

Outside there are spacious well maintained lawns of 1 acre with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. There is a patio and barbecue area and ample private parking for several vehicles. 

The barn is centrally heated throughout with thermostatically controlled radiators and all heating, lighting, electric and hot water is included in the price.

All bedrooms are lockable and each bed has a clean pillow, pillow case, fitted sheet and blanket provided. Please bring your own sleeping bag or quilts and covers.

The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and crockery for 25 people and there are plenty of books, magazines, board games and a small TV.

 Everything you need for a perfect, relaxing short break.                                                     

For something a little more exciting why not check out the Sunhill Centre at Rylstone, which offers Aerial Rope Adventure, Rally Karting, Lazer Combat and Archery, all only a short 15 minute drive from the barn.

Unfortunately we cannot accept dogs and are NOT a young persons Party venue.  We have a strict   NO SMOKING   policy.

The barn is not suitable for dancing etc. as the living accomodation is on the upper floor. However, for those of you who would like to spread out a bit the Village Hall in Kilnsey has been refurbished and is available to hire at a cost of only £25 for the whole evening.
