take over Yorkshire Village


Come to the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and see over 100 life-size scarecrows in one of the most exciting annual festivals celebrating a traditional country skill.

Each scarecrow is individually made in the traditional way by local people and then placed around the beautiful village of Kettlewell in Wharfedale.

Follow the trail of the scarecrows and have a truly great day out for all the family.

    Solve the riddles of the trail to identify the mystery word.

  • Adults' Trail
    Follow the theme of the trail to take you around the sights of this idyllic village.
