Yorkshire's Christmas Markets
Christmas Markets have made a comeback in recent years and if you want to get into the Christmas spirit, there are some fabulous ones to visit throughout Yorkshire. Below are all the main ones throughout the region, each with a link to places to stay close to where they are held.
These markets often have local produce and handcrafted items, which make gifts more personal and special. They tend to cater for all ages and are very family orientated. A lot have appearances from Father Christmas and even his reindeers, they have carol singiners and nativity performances.
Why not treat yourself to a perfect shopping trip, maybe have a glass of mulled wine, a minced pie and roasted chesnuts. With some of these Christmas Markets starting in mid November, how many could you fit in before Christmas day is upon us?

St. Nicholas Fayre, York
This Christmas fair runs in the middle of Parliament Street on its 30th Anniversary! Great place to get you into the festive spirit with lots of Christmassy food and gift stalls

Grassington Dickensian Festival and Christmas Market
