Close to the 2014 Tour de France Route, Embsay is on the outskirts of the market town of Skipton, known as the 'Gateway to the Dales'. Local attractions include the Embsay Steam Railway, the Bolton Abbey Estate and Skipton's medieval castle and colourful Leeds Liverpool canal basin with day boats for hire. The delightful villages of Grassington, Malham, Kettlewell and Burnsall are close by and Ilkley, Haworth, Harrogate and York make great days out.

Bondcroft B&B Accommodation: 2 en-suite rooms and 1 room with private bathroom. All rooms are bright and very comfortable and have TV and tea and coffee-making facilities ensuring you feel right at home. Cosy lounge to relax in and free wi-fi. At breakfast Elaine serves all locally sourced foods. The eggs come from the farm's own hens and bacon and sausages are from local suppliers. The Artisan bread is to die for and there are lots of home made preserves to choose from, including their award winning marmalade.
