This interesting old building was formerly the stables and coach-house for Grange Farm, Hubberholme which used to be the Vicarage for the 13th century church nearby. Hubberholme was described by the dramatist J B Priestley as "one of the most pleasant places in the world".
The camping barn is in ideal Yorkshire dales walking country. It has been converted by local craftsmen into a bunkhouse barn, offering self-catering accommodation for 18 people at weekends only.
On the first floor is a well-equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, cookers, dishwasher and microwave together with a large dining and recreation room in traditional Dales style giving magnificent views of Langstrothdale.
The bunk barn has central heating throughout, TV and free wi-fi and is open all year. There are 4 bedrooms: 2 x 6 beds, 1 x 4 beds and 1 x 2 beds. Catering utensils, a mattress topper, pillows and pillowcases are provided. There is a barbeque, grassy play area and plenty of parking space. As there are holiday cottages nearby, we regret we are not a young person's party venue.
Additional nights may be added to weekends if required.
