Lofthouse Lodge is a modern, traditionally built property providing en-suite accommodation near Harewood House, Leeds. Visitors can enjoy nearby Ilkley Moor, Otley, Harrogate, Wetherby and York as well as explore the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales.

Each double room has its own private exterior access, so you are free to come and go at your own leisure. There is private parking, and each room has a bath and shower in the en-suite.

Harewood is at the start of several famous walks. Walkers can stroll through the Harewood Estate to the Emmerdale filming set and walk back through the circuit via the deer park, Harewood House and grounds and returning up through the woods. This walk has recently been featured in BBC Radio 4's Rambling, hosted by Claire Balding featuring Kaye Mellor.

The house is on the No 36 Bus route so you could have a car free day out in Ripon, Harrogate or Leeds, hopping on just outside the door. Come and explore the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales. York, Wetherby and Harrogate are minutes away, and the beautiful east coast is just over an hour.

History of Lofthouse Lodge

Formerly a gatehouse to Harewood House, the home of David Lascelles, 8th earl of Harewood. Lofthouse Lodge sits at the gateway of the stunning Harewood Estate, laid by Capability Brown. Harewood House stages several concerts and events throughout the year such as the Harewood House Steam Rally, Harewood House Classic Car Show and the Harewood House Drive-In Cinema.
