Hill Top Cottage situated in the lovely village of Malham in the Yorkshire Dales National Park near Skipton. The village is set within a breathtaking Limestone landscape and is well known for its beauty spots; Malham Cove, Gordale Scar, and Janet's Foss. Malham has much to offer with walks from the door for all abilities. Strenous walks can be found in the surrounding hills but a stroll around the village is great if you fancy something less energetic. If you feel like relaxing, the cottage offers a comfortable sofa, wood burning stove and a large selection of books...
Malham village is a two minute walk down the garden path. There are two pubs serving food and real ale, tea rooms and a working blacksmith's shop. Three miles away is a Farm Shop and Tea Room selling local produce and gifts. A short drive away are the bustling market towns of Settle with its Settle-Carlisle Railway and Skipton with its medieval castle. Upper Wharfedale offers many outdoor activities from fishing and cyling to horseriding and exploring pretty Dales villages such as Grassington and Kettlewell. Horton-in-Ribblesdale, the start of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, is 25 minutes drive away.
Hill Top Cottage Accommodation: There is a comfortable open plan lounge, well equipped kitchen and dining area. The lounge has a cosy multifuel stove, TV, DVD, ipod docking station and a large selection of books and games. The dining area has farmhouse table and window seats looking out on to the patio garden. Upstairs there is a bathroom and three bedrooms;
a double room, an adult bunkbed room and a single room. There is a private patio with garden furniture and fantastic views on to Cawden Hill.
Guests are also welcome to use the owners garden. The cottage is centrally heated and fuel, power and bed linen are all included in the price. Short breaks are available most of the year.
