Thwaite Chapel Cottages

Holiday Cottages in Swaledale

Our self-catering cottages are situated in the pretty village of Thwaite, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Both cosy cottages are set within the 1863 Grade II listed former village chapel, located alongside the beck and waterfalls.

Thwaite is an ideal base for exploring Swaledale and Wensleydale, within easy reach of Keld, Muker and Reeth. The bustling market town of Hawes is a short drive away, over the famous Buttertubs Pass. Richmond and Kirkby Stephen are easily reached by car.

For walkers, the Pennine Way, James Herriot Way and Coast to Coast walks all pass close by. Cyclists will enjoy the Swale Trail. Secure storage is available for bikes.
